This is the dream that Antonio Cabras realised in the 1990s when he founded the Cooperativa Goloritzè.

A visionary man who was able to grasp theuniqueness of Selvaggio Blu and created an unparalleled trekking experience.

His passion has opened the doors to this earthly paradise, making Baunei an unmissable destination for nature and adventure lovers.

Antonio's legacy lives on today in the heart of Francesco, who carries on the Selvaggio Blu project with the same intensity as his father.

Combining time-honoured experience with freshness and enthusiasm, father and son guard this treasure and offer it to those who wish to enjoy an unforgettable adventure and an authentic experience.

Wild Blue 5-11 September 2026. We were immersed in a world of wild and untouched beauty where every corner and every image took hard work to capture. The uniqueness of those who were able to organize this experience, refining it over time, was that of letting us enter with our bare feet and of being able to preserve the integrity of those places.. for those who will come after us. It is needless to talk about the gastronomic delights, the unique empathy of the guides Federico and Daniele, and the rude and ancient kindness of Antonio. And perhaps it is precisely thanks to these ingredients that a group of strangers from different “nations”, ages and experience, with the addition of a pinch of Juniper, a few drops of sweat and a sprinkle of good humor managed to blend in perfectly. Order and cleanliness come first. The bathrooms and showers are always super clean at any time of the day. Spectacular. A stay in a van in the open air in the beautiful scenery of Baunei Bay. A starting point for all the coves on trekking mode. At night you find peace, relaxation, and above all, cool temperatures. An excellent spot for lovers of the mountains and the sea.

Recently I have benefited from their support and hospitality on the Blue Wild Path. I highly recommend the services of this family-run company. The assistance on the trail was agreed upon in every detail and provided professionally. The accommodation in the shelter was excellent, the bungalows were simple but clean and equipped with comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were impeccable and everything you need was within easy reach. The local food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was impeccable! The place has a family atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Three stars because after so many years in the field they have not solved some problems. Cooperative that deals with trekking excursions in the Baunei area, one of the most beautiful in Sardinia. Package for a week of excursions in the most beautiful coves: Goloritzè, Cala Mariuolu, Cala Sisine. Let's say that the price paid could be fair, considering other "soft wild blue" proposals that are not really "soft". Excellent guides and really excellent cuisine, with plenty of variety and choice of meals, whether packed or taken out, for dinner and breakfast deserve 10 stars. The organization of logistics is also good. The critical point is the refuge; the bungalows are wooden huts; we had to endure days of rain, so very humid. The sanitary facilities and showers are insufficient and scarce. In the same refuge there is also a lodging facility; the room is clean and the bed is comfortable; after a week of camping in tents and bungalows, the prices per night are not exactly cheap.

Just returned from the SELVAGGIO BLU experience. Returning with a rich harvest, which goes beyond the beautiful landscapes of the sea and the mountains of the Baunei area. I take home stories of life, stories; the culture of excellent food that they have managed to prepare for us, and the pride of people who have managed to live and adapt to a territory as beautiful as it is harsh. I participated in the Blue Wild of June 2025. Antonio deserves praise for what he has managed to create over the years. Great organization and passion on the part of the entire staff made the trek an unforgettable experience, along with a diverse but empathetic group, synergistic, extraordinary. A special thanks to our guide Davide who, having a good experience with monkeys myself, can call him perfect, a wonderful and sunny guy who infuses everyone with great confidence. A special thanks also to Sergio for the dinners and his friendliness. Also thanks to Mirella for the dozens of emails she replied to each time.

I had paid the entire fee in advance for an activity, but unfortunately due to a serious unforeseen circumstance I had to cancel ten days before departure. The owner initially did not want to refund anything. After persistent insistence, he arbitrarily decided to refund only 50% % of the total, a figure well beyond the deposit. I asked for at least a refund of the 200€ in excess of the deposit or a voucher for another date, but I found myself faced with a total closure and an attitude of no willingness to help. I leave feeling bitter. I would gladly have returned to them, but now I prefer to turn to other cooperatives, which I hope will demonstrate more fairness, transparency, and less attachment to money.

We just finished the wild blue and we were really satisfied. Our guide Davide was impeccable, always with a smile and ready to encourage the group, keeping the time and being always punctual and precise despite the group being diverse. The logistics were superb, as was our chef Sergio and the kitchen of the refuge that prepared us always different things with typical products; attentive both in the preparation of the packed lunch and in the abundant dinners. I recommend the experience with this cooperative for the deep respect and knowledge of their territory and for the possibility of discovering unique anecdotes and fascinating stories. I participated in the full-day blue wilderness trekking with the CAI Uget from Turin from April 26 to May 3. Beautiful places. Sergio, our cook, is really great at cooking our meals. He prepared excellent dinners for us, on time, kind, and polite. Great breakfast served punctually at the set time. A big thank you to the guides Ariano who kept our morale high when we had to spend 24 hours in the stable due to bad weather. Thanks to the guide Davide who was so professional in guiding us through the descents with advice and directions, transmitting confidence even to those who were experiencing their first experience of descending on a rope.

With a group of friends we hiked the Blue Wilderness on our own and relied on the Goloritze Cooperative for logistical support. The service was excellent, always punctual and precise. Francesco and Antonio will also be able to offer you a telephone guide in case of any problems with orientation during the trekking. The meals at the refuge are very good with typical Sardinian products. Highly recommended

We were guests for 6 days at Goloritzè Room and Breakfast in Baunei. At the end of this delightful stay, we have the desire to leave a lasting impression. As soon as we arrived, Monica welcomed us with her great professionalism and sensitivity, immediately making us understand that we had arrived in the best place we could have wished for. The property has recently been renovated and was built with great care, taste and attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, completely soundproofed and equipped with an excellent air conditioning system, which is pleasant even when it is on during sleep. To top off this efficient hospitality, the beautiful terrace also contributed, from which one can enjoy an incredible view of the village, the surrounding plateau and the sea. Monica and her staff were also always available to provide us with excellent recommendations for excursions and places to visit. Francesca, Bruno and Gaetano.

I participated in the Selvaggio Blu organized by the cooperative, an absolutely fantastic experience in every aspect. The organization is stellar, the guide (Ivan) is very knowledgeable and was very generous with our group by adding unplanned stops and explaining many details about the history and nature of these fantastic places with passion. In the evening we were joined by the chef (Sergio), who surprised everyone with fantastic dinners prepared on the spot with long-cooked steaks over the fire (porceddu, orate, beef, sausages), all in huge quantities and with excellent Cannonau wine and Mirto/grappa on the house. It is commendable the utmost respect for nature that is constantly manifested in every moment by all the members of the cooperative. Considering everything that is offered, including food, long overland transport, guide, etc., the price of the package for the entire wild blue is really very advantageous.

All the most famous treks (Goloritzé, Mariolu, Biriala, Sisine), mountain bike excursions and climbing crags are a 1-minute walk away from the Goloritzé excursion centre. Possibility of camping with tents, caravans and minivans in an unspoilt environment and very clean facilities. Excellent local cuisine and the friendly staff. A dream place for those who love active holidays.
