This is the dream that Antonio Cabras realised in the 1990s when he founded the Cooperativa Goloritzè.

A visionary man who was able to grasp theuniqueness of Selvaggio Blu and created an unparalleled trekking experience.

His passion has opened the doors to this earthly paradise, making Baunei an unmissable destination for nature and adventure lovers.

Antonio's legacy lives on today in the heart of Francesco, who carries on the Selvaggio Blu project with the same intensity as his father.

Order and cleanliness come first. Bathrooms and showers always super clean at any time of day. Marvellous. A campervan stay in the open air within the splendid scenery of the Gulf of Baunei. Starting point for all the coves via trekking. At night you find peace, relaxation and above all coolness. Excellent spot for mountain and sea lovers.

I recently benefited from their support and hospitality on the Selvaggio Blu trail. I highly recommend the services of this family-run company. The assistance on the trail was agreed in detail and provided professionally. The accommodation in the refuge was excellent, the bungalows were simple but clean and equipped with comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were impeccable and everything necessary was at hand. Delicious and abundant local food, and impeccable service! The place has a family atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Three stars because after so many years in the field they have not solved some problems. A cooperative that deals with trekking excursions in the Baunei area, one of the most beautiful in Sardinia. A package for a week of excursions to three of the most beautiful coves, Goloritzè, Cala Mariuolu, Cala Sisine. Let's say that the price paid could be right, evaluated with other proposals of 'wild blue soft' that soft is not. Excellent guides and truly excellent cuisine, for the abundance and variety of meals, packed lunches, dinners and breakfasts deserve 10 stars. The logistical organisation was also good. Critical point the hut, the bungalows are wooden huts, we caught rainy days, so very wet. Toilets and showers insufficient and poor. In the same hut they also have accommodation, clean room and comfortable bed, after a week between tent and bungalow, prices per night not exactly cheap.

Just returned from the SELVAGGIO BLU experience.
I returned with a rich booty, which goes beyond the beautiful landscapes of the sea and mountains of the Baunei area. I take home tales of life, stories; the culture of excellent food that they have been able to prepare for us, and the pride of people who have managed to coexist and mould themselves to a territory as beautiful as it is severe. Personally, I consider it an experience worth more than the money spent.

I took part in the Selvaggio blu in June 2025.Kudos must go to Antonio for what he has managed to create over the years. Great organisation and passion on the part of all the staff made the trek an unforgettable experience, together with a heterogeneous but empathetic, synergetic, extraordinary group. A special thanks to our guide Davide who, as I have a good experience of bee-keeping, I can define as perfect, a splendid and sunny guy who instils great confidence in everyone, and a special thanks also to Sergio for the dinners and the friendliness. Thanks also to Mirella for the dozens of e-mails she answered each time.

I had paid the full fee in advance for an activity, but unfortunately due to a serious hitch I had to give up ten days before departure. The owner initially did not want to refund anything. After insistence, he arbitrarily decided to refund only 50% of the total, a sum well in excess of the deposit.

I asked for at least the return of the 200€ overpayment or a voucher for another date, but I was met with a total closure and an attitude of no availability.

I come away bitter. I would have gladly gone back to them, but now I prefer to turn to other cooperatives, which I hope will show more fairness, transparency and less attachment to money.

We have just completed the Wild Blue and were really pleased. Our guide Davide was impeccable, always with a smile and ready to spur the group on, keeping to the timetable and always punctual and precise despite the fact that the group was varied. The logistics were super, as was our cook Sergio and the hut kitchen, which always prepared different things for us with typical products; attentive both in preparing packed lunches and hearty dinners. I recommend the experience with this cooperative for the deep respect and knowledge of their territory and for the opportunity to discover unique anecdotes and fascinating stories. I took part in the wild blue trek with the CAI Uget of Turin from 26 April to 3 May. Beautiful places. Sergio our cook is really super at cooking our meals. He prepared excellent dinners for us, punctual, kind and polite. Excellent breakfast served punctually at the appointed time. A big thank you to the guide Ariano who kept our spirits high when we had to spend 24 hours in the fold due to bad weather. Thanks to the guide Davide who was so professional in following us on the abseils with advice and directions, conveying confidence even to those who were at their first experience of abseiling.

With a group of friends, we walked the Selvaggio Blu independently and relied on the Cooperativa Goloritze for logistical support. They offer an excellent service, always punctual and precise. Francesco and Antonio will also be able to offer guidance by phone in case of orientation problems during the treks.
Very good dinners at the refuge with typical Sardinian products.

It offers an excellent transport and conduction service after the experience of a soft version of Selvaggio Blu with Cai Abbiategrasso and with the expert guide Ariano.At the Golgo headquarters you can enjoy excellent local cuisine, buy typical products.Kindness and friendliness.

We were guests for 6 days at the Goloritzè Room and Breakfast in Baunei. At the end of this delightful stay, we have the desire to leave a memory of our own. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Monica, with her great professionalism and sensitivity she immediately made us realise that we had arrived in the best place we could have wished for. The structure is newly renovated and has been built with great care, taste and attention to detail. The rooms are beautifully spacious, totally soundproofed and equipped with an excellent air-conditioning system, which is pleasant even when kept on during sleep. Also contributing to this efficient hospitality is the beautiful terrace, from which one can enjoy an incredible view of the village, the surrounding plateaus and the sea. Monica and her staff were also always available to give us good advice on excursions and places to visit.

I participated in the Selvaggio Blu organised by the cooperative, an absolutely fantastic experience in every respect.

The organisation is stellar, the guide (Ivan) is very knowledgeable and was very generous with our group, adding unplanned parts of the route and passionately explaining many details about the history and nature of these fantastic places.

In the evening, we were joined by the cook (Sergio), who surprised everyone with fantastic dinners prepared on the spot with very long cooking skewers over the fire (porceddu, gilthead bream, beef, sausages), all in huge quantities and with excellent Cannonau and Mirto wine/grappa at will.

To be commended is the utmost respect for nature, which is continually promulgated at every single moment by all members of the cooperative.

Considering all that is on offer, including food, long off-road transport, driving, etc., the package price for the entire Wild Blue is really very good value.

All the most famous treks (Goloritzé, Mariolu, Biriala, Sisine), mountain bike excursions and climbing crags are a 1-minute walk away from the Goloritzé excursion centre. Possibility of camping with tents, caravans and minivans in an unspoilt environment and very clean facilities. Excellent local cuisine and the friendly staff. A dream place for those who love active holidays.
